Fire Country Season 3: What You Need to Know

Must read

Bode’s (Max Thieriot) freedom in CBS’s firefighter drama Fire Country doesn’t mean the end of his troubles. As we last saw, he was pleading with his uncle Luke (Michael Trucco) to help him secure a spot on a Cal Fire team for Season 3. This request puts Bode at the center of a Leone family conflict, with Sharon (Diane Farr) vowing to take Luke’s job after discovering his role in Manny’s (Kevin Alejandro) arrest.

Bode’s personal life is equally tumultuous. He witnessed Gabriela (Stephanie Arcila) walking down the aisle to marry Diego (Rafael de la Fuente), but her final decision remains unknown. Meanwhile, Jake (Jordan Calloway) grapples with the possibility that Rick (Adam Aalderks), a former addict and high school troublemaker, might be Gen’s (Alix West Lefler) biological father, complicating his custody battle for his ex-fiancée’s daughter.

We anticipate Fire Country Season 3 to be as intense as the blazes the Cal Fire team tackles in each episode. Adding to the excitement is news of a spin-off in development and the announcement of Jared Padalecki’s upcoming three-episode guest appearance.

Latest Updates on Fire Country Season 3

Jared Padalecki, known for Supernatural and Walker, is set to guest star in three episodes of Fire Country Season 3, according to Deadline. The report also suggests that Padalecki’s role could potentially lead to him headlining his own spin-off, separate from the planned Sheriff Country series.

Fire Country Season 3 Premiere Date

Mark your calendars: Fire Country Season 3 will debut on Friday, Oct. 18 at 9/8c, airing between S.W.A.T. and Blue Bloods. For those who prefer streaming, episodes will be available on Paramount+ the day after they air.

Previously on Fire Country Season 2

The big news for Fire Country Season 3 is Bode’s release from prison. Jake hinted at the possibility of Bode being Gen’s real dad in the Season 2 opener. Though this turned out to be false, the idea gave Bode hope and drive to fight for his freedom. His good behavior and bravery during a campaign fire led to his early release. He made it through the initial transition period but now eagerly seeks a spot at a Cal Fire station to put his energy to good use.

While Bode’s career is looking up, his love life is still complicated. He’s still in love with Gabriela, and they shared a kiss during the campaign fire’s last night. However, Gabriela seemingly went ahead with her wedding to Diego – though we didn’t actually see them exchange vows.

Showrunner Tia Napolitano told TV Guide after the Season 2 finale, “Diego is a logical choice for Gabriela. He offers a great life, comes from a wonderful family, is talented and attractive. They have chemistry and enjoy dancing together. Their marriage would likely be strong and lasting. But is he her true love? That’s something we’ll explore further.”

Although Gabriela may have married Diego, her father Manny got to walk her down the aisle, fulfilling a dream. However, this joy was short-lived as Manny had to turn himself in to the police for assaulting Luke at the firefighter benefit. Now, Manny faces starting over, much like the inmates he’s mentored for two seasons.

Eve (Jules Latimer) now runs Three Rock in Manny’s absence, while Jake remains captain of Station 42. It’s unclear who will replace Vince (Billy Burke) as Jake’s boss after Vince’s electrocution in Season 2 led to heart problems forcing his early retirement.
